Laminates & Lab Systems

AccraTec has added a narrow web lamination system to our laboratory testing and evaluation equipment. The lamination system provides both ultrasonic and hot melt adhesive bonding, incorporates precise web tensioning through out the process and is capable of web speeds consistent with state of the art production equipment.

Basic Operating Parameters include:

• Web Width: Standard - Four inches, Maximum - Six inches
• Web Unwind: Stacked driven, double unwind with dancer trimmed tension control and ultrasonic roll diameter sensing. Maximum roll diameter; Thirty-two inches
• Web Speed: Up to 1,400 feet per minute.
• Ultrasonic Bonder: Fixed horn with rotary anvil - Customer may specify anvil and pattern configuration.
• Hot Melt Adhesive: Nordson with Control Coat Modular Nozzles. Customer may specify alternative application nozzles and adhesives.
• Wind Up: Traverse wound to twenty-four inch width or column wound. Maximum diameter: Thirty-two inches. The winder features dancer trimmed tension control and ultrasonic roll diameter sensing.
• Elastic Thread: Integration of an AccraTec elastic thread feeding system provides elastic thread feeding, variable and accurate elongation and force consistency. Type of elastic threads, number of threads, and thread spacing per customer specification.
• Drives And Control: AC Vector drives, PLC and Touch Screen control.
